Plans for people wanting to Caravan to the action:
Thursday June 7th:
Meet at T.R McKenzie and Joey Feaster’s home after 3pm. The Address is 504
Wilson St. Jefferson SD 57038. Bring your tent and anything you will need
to camp out for a few days. Everyone can camp in our backyard for the
night. Dinner will be provided by DGR Great Plains.
Friday June 8th:
We will leave for Pine Ridge between 8 -9a.m. in the morning. We should
arrive in Pine Ridge by 2pm. The meeting point will be the Wounded Knee
Museum and Mass Grave Site please be there by 3pm. Olowan has asked all
participants to bring tobacco to offer to the ancestors that were
massacred there. Olowan will then take us to our camp site for the night,
it is somewhere outside of Slim Butte, SD.
Saturday June 9th:
We will leave the camp site around 10a.m. and by at Billie Mills Hall in
Pine Ridge by 11a.m. The March starts at noon.
